Joswiak also encouraged us to “Mac (😉) our calendars,” suggesting that Apple is ready to unveil its product plans just in time for Halloween.
When Will the New Apple Devices Be Launched?
While there won’t be a video event like last year for the MacBook Pro M3, Apple is likely to introduce these new models through press releases, similar to what they did recently with the iPad mini. The official launch of iOS 18.1 is confirmed for Monday, with the rest of the week dedicated to the new Macs. According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple is set to release [products].
Rumors point to the launch of a 14-inch entry-level MacBook Pro with the base M4 chip, as well as 16-inch versions with M4 Pro and/or M4 Max chips. A revamped 24-inch iMac is also expected to be unveiled. Users are hoping for the notch housing the camera to disappear in these new devices.
The highlight of the week will be the revised Mac Mini, rumored to be smaller than the M2 version and supporting three USB-C ports and an HDMI connection. It remains to be seen if some Mac Mini models will use the M4 Pro instead of the base M4 chip.
