Neo Gamma: The Innovative Home Robot with Autonomous Personality Transforming Robotics Industry
The Robot that not only works, but also wants to fit into your life
Having a robot at home is no longer a thing of the future. 1X has just unveiled Neo Gamma, a humanoid designed to seamlessly integrate into households. Its proposal not only stands out for its technical capabilities, but also for its focus on a closer and more emotional interaction with users.

Soft design and natural movements
Unlike its predecessor, Neo Gamma comes with a more friendly design. Its aluminum structure is covered with a seamless knitted suit, manufactured with Japanese Shimaseki technology. This detail sets it apart from the classic image of industrial robots and brings it closer to a comfortable and familiar figure within the home.
Technical specifications are limited, but it is known that the robot is 165 centimeters tall, weighs around 30 kilos, and has been designed to be quieter than Neo Beta. With noise levels similar to a refrigerator, its presence at home is not intrusive.
In addition, its mobility system uses human motion capture, allowing it to walk naturally, swing its arms, and sit down without losing balance. Its control system updates 100 times per second, giving it remarkable precision when handling objects in unfamiliar environments.
More than an assistant, a companion at home
Neo Gamma is not only designed to perform household tasks like making coffee or folding clothes. Its intelligence allows it to interact with the inhabitants of the home, adapting its behavior to each situation. It can open doors for older people, move carefully around pets, and engage in conversations thanks to its advanced capabilities.

Another distinctive feature is its “ear rings,” which use light to provide real-time visual feedback. This detail reinforces the idea that Neo Gamma is not just a robot, but a system that seeks to build trust with those who live with it.
The future of humanoid robots in households
The competition in the market for humanoid robots has intensified in recent months. Companies have introduced models like Helix VLM, in a race to develop humanoid robots with generalist applications. However, 1X’s strategy is different: instead of focusing solely on technical performance, they are aiming for a more natural integration into daily life.
1X CEO Bernt Børnich has made it clear that their goal is for Neo Gamma to reach households as soon as possible. “For humanoid robots to truly integrate into everyday life, they must be developed alongside humans, not in isolation,” he explains.
With this vision, 1X not only seeks to offer an efficient household assistant, but a home companion with whom people can interact naturally. The big question is: are we ready to live with robots that seek more than just doing our tasks?
