Android 15 introduces innovative feature for recording app activity without displaying notifications or interruptions
Recording a Single App on Android
Android has introduced a new feature that changes the way apps are recorded. This option allows you to capture actions within a specific app without distractions like notifications or other elements on the screen.
To access this feature, swipe two fingers from the top of the screen to open the quick options menu. Select “Record screen” among the shortcuts to configure what you want to record. Choose the “Single app” option to focus solely on the chosen app, excluding any other elements on the screen. You can also select whether to record with audio from the device, microphone, or no audio at all. Once set up, click “Start recording.”
Controlling the Recording Process
Upon entering the selected app, the recording will begin instantly. A red dot at the top of the screen indicates that the recording is active, with a gray button nearby for access to recording controls. This mode in Android 15 enables you to showcase app activities without interruptions or unwanted elements on the screen.
This new feature allows for cleaner and more professional app recordings, focusing solely on the app’s content and eliminating distractions.
