From this Tuesday, April 22nd to Sunday, April 27th, the United States has deployed some of its most iconic aircraft in Mexico. But don’t worry, it’s not for combat purposes. The reason behind this is linked to the most important aerospace event in the country.
Elite Technology: Which planes arrived and why?
Among the most eye-catching visitors is the F-35, a fifth-generation fighter that combines stealth, speed, and cutting-edge sensors. This aircraft is considered one of the most sophisticated in the world.
Alongside it, other aircraft like the C-17 Globemaster III for military transport, a KC-135 for aerial refueling, and two P-51 Mustangs, aerial relics from World War II, have also arrived. All of them will be on display during the event.
FAMEX 2025: A global showcase in Santa Lucía
Officially inaugurated by Presidenta, FAMEX 2025 is organized by the Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (SEDENA) and represents one of the most relevant gatherings in defense, security, and aviation in Latin America.
This year, FAMEX brings together over 400 exhibitors from various countries and representatives from 20 allied air forces. The special participation of Brazil highlights the international nature of the event.
In addition to aircraft exhibitions, FAMEX aims to boost the Mexican aerospace industry, promote international cooperation, and attract key foreign investments for the country’s economic and technological development.
