The innovative project at La Svolta incorporates 7,770 thin-film solar panels with a total power of 970 kW. These panels are mounted in structures inspired by traditional pergolas, providing energy generation while offering protection to the vines from harsh winds. Technical studies have shown that this installation has led to a 20% reduction in water consumption due to lower evaporation rates and an increase in land yield by up to 60%. Additionally, the wind speed under the panels has been halved, offering further protection to the vines.
