Google enters the film industry to rebrand major tech companies.

Google partners with Range Media Partners to produce films and TV shows

Major technology companies are grappling with image issues due to political controversies and privacy violations. Google, looking to improve its reputation, has partnered with Range Media Partners to launch a new film and television production called 100 Zeros. This initiative seeks both scripted and unscripted projects for Google to produce or help finance.

Google’s goal: promote the adoption of new technologies

Google aims to encourage creatives to adopt its new technologies, such as Immersive View and spatial tools, as well as to use artificial intelligence in their projects. Additionally, the company hopes to create positive opinions about its products, especially among younger audiences, through the production of entertainment and popular culture.

Future projects and Range Media controversies

In addition to 100 Zeros, Google and Range Media also collaborated on the program “AI on Film” to explore the relationship between humanity and artificial intelligence. However, Range Media has faced legal controversies with CAA, accusing the company of stealing confidential information and circumventing the law by acting as a talent agency.
