Kim Dotcom set to be extradited to the U.S. after a decade of legal wrangling.

After more than a decade, Kim Dotcom is set to be extradited from New Zealand to the US to face criminal charges linked to his defunct file-sharing business. The German tech entrepreneur legally changed his last name to Dotcom in 2005 and founded Megaupload the same year. However, US authorities accused the platform of enabling internet piracy and copyright infringement, costing music and film studios millions while making a profit for Megaupload.

Dotcom has been residing in New Zealand and fighting against extradition since 2012. New Zealand’s Justice Minister recently signed the order for his extradition, stating that Dotcom should face trial in the US. Dotcom, in his typical style, cryptically commented, “Don’t worry. I have a plan,” hinting at a possible strategy to deal with the situation.

### Dotcom’s Intriguing Comment

In a recent statement, Dotcom criticized New Zealand as an “obedient American colony in the South Pacific,” suggesting that his extradition was unjust. He has been vocal in his criticism of the US government, spreading conspiracy theories and expressing concerns about global issues like the possibility of nuclear war.
