Trump supporters propagate conspiracy theory that Tim Walz’s dog is fake
Donald Trump’s supporters are spreading conspiracy theories in online safe spaces, with the latest one claiming that Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz is lying about his dog’s identity. The theory gained traction after a tweet comparing photos of Walz with two different dogs went viral, sparking questions about his honesty and motives.
US Senator from Missouri Eric Schmitt chimed in on the controversy, expressing concern over Walz’s actions and fueling the speculation. However, a closer look at the photos reveals that Walz was simply photographed with different dogs on separate occasions, with no indication of deception on his part.
Despite the baseless accusations, Walz has maintained a positive image among the public, with a +5.6 rating according to FiveThirtyEight’s national polling average. In comparison, Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, has a significantly lower rating of -10.3, highlighting the growing popularity of Walz as a political figure.
As Trump’s followers continue to target Walz, the ongoing attacks may only serve to strengthen his position and potentially propel him to the White House alongside Kamala Harris in the upcoming presidential election.
